Doswell was originally founded in 2005 as an off-shoot of the hugely successful Drew Smith to undertake one-off speculative projects outside of the main group business function. Doswell now operates as an SME house builder and remains under the same family ownership and guidance that has underpinned its success over the years. As we build homes for the future to which sustainability and biodiversity are a key factor, we seek to maintain our long-standing commitment to high-quality, safety and timely delivery.


Andrew Doswell

CHAIRMAN

Andrew’s track record speaks for itself, having successfully built and sold his majority stake in a regional construction and housebuilding company to a FTSE 250 business in 2017. Since then, Andrew has extended his involvement in the industry, providing oversight and leadership to the Doswell Projects team.

Andrew is able to lever his vast industry knowledge to ensure the strategy of the business is properly devised and implemented.

Samuel Doswell BSc (Hons)

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Samuel has extensive experience and a deep understanding of the built environment. With a commercially trained background and a first-class honours degree in Construction Management, he leads the business with vision and passion, creating opportunities and building strong relationships with councils, housing associations and partners.

Known for his knowledge, attention to detail and practical approach, Samuel ensures every project runs smoothly, from securing planning permissions to delivering high-quality new homes.

Jack is a Chartered Management Accountant with over 10 years of experience in the accounting industry. He has developed a comprehensive skill set through roles in both practice and internal finance management. His diverse experience across various sectors provides a strong foundation of knowledge, enabling him to effectively support the company’s financial operations.

Trained as an Interior Designer at the renowned KLC School of Design and with previous experience in the property sector, she now leads our branding, content and business presentation, ensuring everything reflects the Doswell vision and identity.
